I SURRENDER ALL

WOMEN’S GROUP

6:00PM | Kailani Gadlin and Janet Gentle | FC

We all receive this fervent appeal and invitation to surrender everything to Jesus. To follow Him not just as your Savior but as your priority, your first love, your Lord. To move beyond being a believer to becoming His disciple. Because there is a difference. Salvation is a gift of God. It’s free. It’s grace. It’s the cross. Discipleship comes at a high cost. It’s surrender. It’s effort. It’s a daily choice to lay down your life and follow His. Few believers choose this route, but the ones who do will experience the abundance that only the surrendered life can offer. It’s the one choice standing between you and the life of freedom and fulfillment, of peace and purpose you’ve always wanted. I Surrender All is all about making that choice. The choice that changes everything. This book study will be impossible to simply read because it beckons you to make a decision about the kind of Christian you will be. Prepare to engage, to write, to pray, and be called into a surrendered life. An abundant life. A disciple’s life.

MEN’S GROUP

6:30PM | Jeff caiola and Matt vogt | FC

Contrary to popular belief, we do not have to be perfect to do God's work. Look no further than the twelve disciples whose many weaknesses are forever preserved throughout the pages of the New Testament. Jesus chose ordinary men - fisherman, tax collectors, political zealots - and turned their weakness into strength, producing greatness from utter uselessness. This group will draws principles from Christ's careful, hands-on training of the original twelve disciples for today's modern disciple - you.

Verse by Verse

Coed Group

6:30AM | ERIC RODKO| via Zoom

Verse by Verse in an in-depth study of Scripture, with a group of wonderful believers-pilgrims. Rather than assigning big sections, such as a full chapter of any given book, we take a fine-tooth comb approach, which results in deep conversation. All of us are at different points of our faith walk; we all have different perspectives, and they are all valid. Come join us. Nothing like Scripture and coffee to start your mornings!

EVERYTHING SAD IS UNTRUE

Coed Group

6:00PM | Ryan Keating and Kevin Wilhelm | Portland Home

Everything Sad Is Untrue by Daniel Nayeri is a novel that recounts the true story of the author's childhood journey from Iran to the United States to escape religious persecution after his mother became a Christian. The message of the gospel is woven throughout the story in subtle and unexpected ways. This book is good in every sense. The story is true, and it echoes the most deeply true story; and it is genuinely excellent literature. This book gained international attention and won several awards shortly after its release in 2020. It is one of the best books I have read in recent years. Our group will discuss the chapters of the book along with the social, cultural, spiritual, and theological dimensions of the message. We will meet on Fridays at 6:00 PM at the Keatings' house for dinner, discussion, and prayer. Everyone is welcome and, this is an excellent group to invite friends and neighbors to.

SATURDAY

WE GO ON

Coed Group

9:00AM | Mary Madonna | FC

Do you often ask the question "What is my purpose in life?" In a world that encourages us to find meaning in temporary things, we long to know that who we are makes a difference after we're gone. This hope-filled exploration of this biblical book of wisdom turns our attention to what our true purpose is and how to let that purpose shape our relationships, career, and life choices. In this group, you'll discover a more meaningful, fulfilling life as you explore themes such as: work, wealth, and power, sexuality, social relationships, and justice, religion and family.

This group will also help men and women: experience deeper peace in a changing world, see biblical imagery in a fresh way, persevere through difficult circumstances, and find new motivation for living with intention.
